Talking to us, and getting an answer

Oxibet Help & Support: How to Reach Us and What We Can Fix

Live chat runs around the clock and email replies land inside one business day. Here's how to write a message we can close first time, what our team is allowed to do, what we can't do however it's asked, and where a complaint goes after 28 days.

chat 24/7 email inside 1 business day escalation after 28 days

Most contacts we get close in a single message. The ones that drag arrive as a story rather than a question, or without the reference that would let an agent find the transaction. A fair few ask for something no agent is permitted to do. Knowing where that line sits turns a week of circular messages into five minutes.

Where do you reach us?

Two channels, and they aren't interchangeable. Pick by urgency rather than habit.

Live chat sits in the bottom-right of oxibet.com and runs 24 hours a day. You don't have to be signed in to open it, which matters when the problem is that you can't — our sign-in page covers the self-service fixes first, but a locked account is a chat conversation. Chat is also the only place an agent acts while you're there to see the outcome.

Email is for attachments, for anything you want a written record of, and for anything that isn't blocking you right now. We reply inside one business day. A verification dispute belongs in email; a card that just declined belongs in chat.

How do you write a message we can close first time?

Four minutes of preparation beats twenty minutes of persistence. Have these ready before you open the widget.

  1. Your registered email address

It's your account identifier and the first thing we ask for. If you signed up with an address you rarely use, dig it out first — a wrong one stalls everything after it.

  2. The transaction reference, or the exact time

For anything involving money this is the most useful thing you can give us. No reference? Then the date and time to the minute, and the timezone you're quoting. "Yesterday evening" costs us ten minutes of searching.

  3. A screenshot of the error, before you close it

Error text is often specific enough to identify the cause outright. Capture the whole screen rather than cropping — the URL and the balance around it often tell us something the error string doesn't.

  4. One clear question, not a narrative

Lead with what you want: "my withdrawal from Tuesday is still pending, reference X, what's holding it". Background can follow if we ask for it.

Expect an identity check before we discuss specifics. Treat it as a feature — it's the barrier that stops anyone who scraped your email address from claiming to be you. Our registration walkthrough shows where your history and reference numbers live.

What can we do, and what can't we?

Nearly every frustrating support experience starts with a request from the second column. That isn't us being unhelpful — several of those limits are player-protection rules doing what they were built to do.

We can

  • Check your verification status and tell you which document was rejected and why
  • Explain the exact bonus terms in force on your offer, wagering multiple included
  • Chase a withdrawal sitting past its normal window
  • Reset two-factor authentication once we've verified who you are
  • Apply deposit, loss, wager, session and cool-off limits on request, without asking why
  • Close your account, temporarily or for good
  • Log a formal complaint and give you a reference for it

We can't

  • Lift a cool-off or self-exclusion early — irreversibility is the whole point of the tool
  • Add a bonus after you've started playing the deposit
  • Reinstate a bonus voided by a bet above the C$5 max-bet cap
  • Tell you your password — we can't see it and don't need it
  • Discuss account specifics before we know who we're speaking to
  • Serve Ontario residents, or unblock an Ontario connection
  • Overturn a game result — outcomes come from the studio's RNG, not from us

The retroactive-bonus rule causes the most disappointment. Bonuses attach at the moment of deposit through the cashier opt-in, and once that deposit has been played the funds are indistinguishable from any other cash. If you want the 400% welcome offer, decide before the deposit confirms.

Which problems come up most, and what fixes them?

Roughly in order of how often each lands in our queue. Note how many resolve without contacting anyone.

The issues we hear about most often, what usually causes each one and what resolves it.
IssueUsual causeWhat resolves it
Can't sign inAutofilled old password, wrong email, or an account-state lockWork through the sign-in fixes first; chat if the account itself is locked
Cashier lockedVerification still outstandingUpload ID and proof of address in account settings
Withdrawal still pendingOur review, or settlement time after we've released itAllow 24 hours our side, then about an hour for crypto or 1–3 business days for Interac and cards
Bonus disappearedA bet above the C$5 cap, or the 20-day expiry passingAsk us which rule triggered. A max-bet breach can't be reversed
Free spins missingReleased in tranches, or tied to a title you haven't openedCheck the bonus section for a release schedule first
Card declinedYour issuer blocking gambling merchant codesWe can't override it. Use Interac e-Transfer or crypto instead
Two-factor device lostPhone replaced, or the authenticator reinstalled without a backupOnly we can reset it, and only after an identity check

Card declines cause the most misdirected frustration there. When a Canadian issuer blocks a gambling merchant code, the call happens inside your bank's rules engine before we hear anything, and no agent of ours can appeal it. Our payments page covers the alternatives, and our mobile page covers depositing from a phone.

What if we can't resolve it?

Two tiers, and the first matters more than most players expect.

Tier one is internal. Raise the issue with us, say explicitly that you want it logged as a formal complaint rather than a query, and take the reference number. Keep that reference and keep your transcripts.

Tier two applies after 28 days. If your complaint is still unresolved by then, you can escalate it to our licensing authority — the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under licence ALSI-202411070-FI2, held by Green Web Design and Development Ltd, company registration 000044773, Belize.

What that escalation is and isn't

Our licence establishes that a registered company operates under a regulatory framework with conditions attached, and escalation is a real step with a real recipient. It isn't the machinery a UK Gambling Commission or AGCO player has — no statutory dispute-resolution service sits behind it, and it's slower and less transparent. We'd rather you knew that now than on day 29. Tier one is where nearly every dispute ends, so your records matter.

How do you build a record before you need one?

Disputes get settled on evidence. When two accounts disagree, the one with timestamped records wins — and we always have records. If you don't, you're arguing from memory against a database.

Take the chat transcript

Most sessions offer one by email at the end. Take it every time. It establishes what you were told, and when.

Screenshot both sides of a problem

If something looks wrong, capture the balance before you touch anything, then again after. A pair beats a single shot of the aftermath.

Keep one thread per issue

Don't start a fresh email per follow-up. One thread is a self-assembling case file; five look like five unrelated queries.

How do you spot someone pretending to be us?

Casino accounts hold real balances and sit next to payment methods, which makes them worth attacking. The attacks that work break nothing technical — they impersonate support, because someone waiting on a withdrawal trusts anyone who seems to be helping.

Three rules that catch nearly all of it

We will never ask for your password. Our agents can't see it, can't use it, and have no procedure that needs it. Any request for it is an attack, however the need is dressed up.

We will never ask you to pay to release a withdrawal. There's no processing fee, no unlocking deposit, no tax payment and no verification transfer. A withdrawal that needs money sent to it isn't a withdrawal.

We will never message you first on social media. Not Telegram, not WhatsApp, not a message from an account wearing our logo. Close it, open chat on the site yourself, and ask whether anything is genuinely outstanding.

If you'd rather not go through the settings panel yourself, we'll apply deposit, loss, wager and session limits, a cool-off or a full self-exclusion in a single chat message. You don't have to explain why, and we won't ask. Once applied, no agent, supervisor or escalation of ours can lift a cool-off or self-exclusion early — that's what makes it a tool rather than a suggestion. Our responsible gambling page sets out each option and lists free confidential helplines in every province and territory.

Support questions

How do I contact Oxibet support?

Live chat is the main route and runs 24/7 from the widget in the bottom-right of the site. You don't need to be signed in to open it, which matters when a sign-in failure is the problem. Email is the second channel and suits anything with attachments or anything you want a written record of, with replies inside one business day.

Why won't you discuss my account until I verify who I am?

Because the check protects you. An agent who discussed balances with anyone holding your email address would do the same for someone impersonating you. That barrier is what stops an attacker changing a withdrawal method or extracting your personal data. Have your registered email and account details ready and it takes a moment to clear.

Can you lift a cool-off or self-exclusion early?

No. Both run their full duration, and no agent, supervisor or escalation path of ours can shorten either one. That irreversibility is exactly why the tools work — a lock you could talk your way out of would protect nobody at the moment it mattered. Your balance is untouched and the account reopens on its own when the period ends.

Can a bonus be added after I've deposited?

No. Bonuses attach at the moment of deposit through the cashier opt-in, and once that deposit has been played the funds are indistinguishable from any other cash balance. There's no mechanism to reclassify them afterwards. The same applies to a bonus voided by a bet above the C$5 maximum while wagering was outstanding.

What happens if my complaint isn't resolved?

Raise it with us first and ask for it to be logged formally, with a reference number. If it's still unresolved after 28 days you can escalate to our licensing authority: the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, licence ALSI-202411070-FI2. Keep every transcript and screenshot you have from tier one.

Does the Anjouan licence protect me like a UK or Ontario one?

No, and it's better that you know now. There's no statutory dispute-resolution body sitting behind it and no independently audited segregated-funds requirement of the kind the UK Gambling Commission or the AGCO impose. Escalation is real, but slower and less transparent. In practice nearly every dispute is settled at the support tier instead.

Verify early and you'll rarely need us

Completing verification in your first few days removes the most common reason players end up in our queue at all.
